New Malleefowl Mound Fledges Chicks In Monarto South

Nature Activity

We are excited to share that the newly built Malleefowl mound in Monarto South on a site previously unoccupied by these birds, has resulted in the fledging of 3 chicks.

These have been dutifully captured by the landowner via track-cams. The property is part of a cluster of landholders and partners working together, undertaking considerable areas of revegetation and bushland management works for threatened fauna and flora in the Monarto South.
