Christmas Bush, A Habitat Garden Favourite
Activity From The Nature Education Project
The latest edition of Coast Lines magazine is hot off the press, and this time we highlight one of our favourite plants, Bursaria spinosa.
Also known as Christmas bush, you can see Bursaria flowering along the roadsides as you travel around. It provides essential habitat and food for native birds and insects when there is limited resources available, making it a perfect choice to plant in the habitat garden.
This latest edition marks 12 months of Second Nature providing nature content for the magazine and it’s been great to share stories that highlight different plants, projects and ways that we can connect to our natural environment.
We have a couple of copies available at our Natural Resource Centre in Strathalbyn, or you can read online here: https://www.coastlines.com.au/
A big thank you to Susie and the team for their support, and we look forward to more contributions into 2025!
