Connecting Landholders - A Guided Flora Walk

Nature Project Activity From The Mulgundawa To Monarto Biodiversity Links - Phase 2 Project

Second Nature recently held a guided walk and networking session for over 25 interested parties and participants in our Mulgundawa to Monarto Biodiversity Links Phase 2 project.

The purpose of the walk was to increase awareness of the importance of biodiversity, identify key flora species and generate discussion.

The walk was led by Second Nature Senior Project Officer Ben Simon and supported by Restoration Ecologists Kate Graham and Victoria Hefford from Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board.

The walk was a great opportunity for neighbouring landholders to network, share knowledge, connect with key project stakeholders, and ask questions. A number of resources were provided including flora species lists, fungi identification booklets and other information relevant to the project.
